New kids' park sure to dazzle
DARLING Quarter, which is opening on September 24, has the biggest free children’s playground in Sydney’s CBD.
The area offers a spectacular array of water features coupled with exciting interactive play equipment.
Near this is a multi-purpose children’s theatre, a relaxing open community green with colourful, oversized picnic rugs and director and deck chairs, plus the new eating precinct which offers a mix of dining and takeaway options.
The new children’s playground covers more than 4000sqm with native plants and palms and the multi-purpose children’s theatre and performance facility will contribute to the family entertaining events in Darling Harbour.
The precinct also includes a newsagency, banking facilities and a 600-bay public car park.
