New leader in the Warwick Gold Cup and four are in second
CAMPDRAFTING: Mallanganee rider Lloyd Brown is outright favourite to win the Pryde's EasiFeed Warwick Gold Cup after scoring his second 90 on Mallanganee Sampson in round 2.
Brown was one of eight leaders in the Gold Cup going into round 2 on a score of 90.
He scored 90 in round 2 to have a four-point lead. He lives at Mallanganee in the Kyogle area of New South Wales.
Jondaryan rider Karl Burton had 90 in round 1 and scored 86 in round 2 on Lectric Kellie to have a share of second with Berry Shann on Omiss, Terry Hall on Hazelwood I'm A Gangster and Bradley Buttsworth riding Grace.
Hall is certain to qualify for the final on a horse owned by Warwick couple Terry and Geraldine Dwan.
The final is scheduled at noon today.
Rodeo action will start at 10am today with APRA national finals from 2pm today.
