Newest cadet has a nose for local news

AFTER a week long internship and several days work experience at the Daily News there is a good chance you have already seen his byline in the paper.

But as of Monday Jayden Brown is the newest cadet to join the Warwick Daily News team.

Having spent the last nine years living in Clifton with his family Jayden is no stranger to the region.

Jayden, who turned 21 yesterday , will graduate from USQ Toowoomba with a bachelor of communications majoring in public relations and journalism early next year.

"I have always had a passion for writing and it just followed on from there," Jayden said.

To Jayden, writing for a local newspaper means he will be able to contribute back to the community and at the same time become more involved in it.

"I am really looking forward to getting out in the community and learning more about Warwick and the people," he said.

Just three days into his new job and Jayden is already "loving it".

"I love the team, the town and this is an excellent opportunity," he said.
