New Warwick store to be all the rage

THE latest trends in health are only days away from Rose City shoppers.

Next week, Go Vita will reopen in town, setting up shop at a prime location in Rose City Shoppingworld.

Taking centre stage will be kombucha on tap, the health drink that's all the rage, with changing flavours to keep customers coming back.

Owners John and Linda Bylicki are the team behind the popular Stanthorpe store and said kombucha not only tasted great but was good for you.

"People everywhere have discovered it, it's going crazy at the moment and we're excited to bring it to our new Warwick store,” Mr Bylicki said.

"It's a fermented drink with amazing probiotic properties, so it's a good general tonic, great for your well-being and good for your gut.”

Alongside, the store will offer a range of artisan cakes, ready-made for the gluten and lactose intolerant in the community.

As well, as that the store will sell ancient grain breads made grains other than those normally used from bread-making.

"The artisan cakes are absolutely delicious,” Mr Bylicki said.

"People are are going to fall in love with them.”

Mr Bylicki said the chance to open a store in the redeveloped Rose City Shoppingworld was irresistible.

"Ever since the Warwick store closed a few years ago, we've had so many comments and Warwick Go Vita fans travelling to Stanthorpe to see us and bemoaning the fact there was no store in Warwick,” he said.

"The Rose City Shoppingworld management approached us a while back and showed us what they were doing and what the new centre would look like and we were really impressed, this is some classy, serious redevelopment.

"It seemed like such a great opportunity and we're very excited to be opening up.”

The store, which opens on Thursday, May 31, will also serve their own organic teas and Bun Coffee from Byron Bay.

On Saturday, June 2, the new shop will have its grand opening with specials, giveaways and tastings in store.

Manager Shari Maine will run the store along with six new staff from Warwick.

The first Go Vita store opened in Warwick in June 1976 and today there are more than 150 across the country.
