Website makes life easier for mums
NIGHT feeds, dirty nappies, long cuddles and playtime leave new mums with very little time for shopping and exploring local services.
But one Warwick woman is hoping to help ease the load for her fellow busy mummies.
Mother of two Louise Ratcliffe has launched The Busy Mummy Network website, a one-stop shop for all things children.
"After the birth of my first child I realised there was so much I didn't know about being a mum and what services were available," she said.
"Luckily I have a lot of friends and family to support me but I got to thinking about mums out there who don't have the same support network," she said.
Mrs Ratcliffe has been working on the site for the past two years as a way to not only inform mums but bring them together with other mums.
Information on child-related services, products and activities, online forums, events calendars and special offers are all in the one place.
"The Busy Mummy Network is here to help make the busy life that little bit easier for local mums, stay-at-home mums, single parents, working mums and mister mums," she said.
A busy mummy herself, Mrs Ratcliffe juggles the roles of a mum, wife and small business owner.
Raising children is certainly not kind to the bank balance but mums can also visit The Busy Mummy Boutique on Facebook for affordable, baby clothes and items.
