Tannymorel Bowls Club

What a week we have had at the club, with the final round of the Tanny Classic played on Friday night, followed by the Jackie Bunch Memorial Bowls Day Cancer Fundraiser on Saturday afternoon and night. Friday night Bretto Grayson claimed the crown of the classic winners with 21 points and he sure is telling everyone he is the champ, he is even wearing a cap that says No. 1, go Bretto. Taking 2nd prize money was Lyn Coleman and Mick O'Leary with 3rd prize going to "The Young Gun” Taylah Hoffman and Aaron McKinney. Great effort to the non-bowlers Bretto, Lyn & Taylor. They showed the bowlers how to do it, poor ole Sue took the horses butt prize.

Results are Taylah, Annie Roche, Shep & Walshy 11 v Krystal, Quinton, Eli & Don 7. Paul Smith, Jim Lamb & Mick O 17 v Tegan Smith, Mrytle and Aaron 11. Warren Hoffman, Lyn Coleman & Croc 14 v Ash Coleman, Bretto "No 1” & Sue 9. Lloyd Johnson, Wayne Petersen, Terry Roche & Gordie 9 v Scott Petersen, Ken Armstrong, Fritzy & Thommo 8. Thommo said he let Gordie win because he knew he would "sook”. Again a great six weeks. It will be back again soon.

Saturday 11/11/2017, was Jackie's Day and what a great day was had by all with 66 bowlers turning up for a beautiful meal, plenty of prizes in the multi-draw and heaps of great gear for auction. Well done to Ray, Monique & Megan you did a brilliant job. Jackie would have been so proud. To everyone who turned up you were all winners and there were no losers on the day. To everyone who purchased tickets, the girls in the kitchen and anyone who helped on the day, thanks very much for making this a wonderful day.

The bowls winners were drawn out of a hat with the winner being Dom, Belinda, Helena & Neil. Runners up were Cheryl, Bruce Mauch & Quinton. Results were D Kercheual, Wild Bill, Randy & Sue 26 v Amy, Bec, Rob & Cameron 11. Phil, Cathy, Bunchy & Slave 16 v Christine, Bev, Donna, Andrew 12.
