Night polocrosse games at Warwick carnival

FEW sports look as good under floodlights as polocrosse.

The Warwick IOR Petroleum Rose Bowl Carnival will be played at Morgan Park starting 6pm Friday.

The Friday night games will be interstate women's masters and sub-junior games between Queensland and New South Wales.

Games will also be played under lights on Saturday night. Grandstand seating is available on both sides of the grounds or patrons can watch the action from the comfort of the clubhouse.

Evening meals will also be served on Friday and Saturday nights.

There will be up to 100 games played from early Saturday to the last of the finals on Sunday afternoon.

Players have the luxury of two new training fields and a training track to work their horses.

The Warwick club has already set a date for its Barastoc Interstate Series carnival next year, May 4-6.

Organisation has started for the 2019 World Cup which will be played at Morgan Park between the eight best countries in the world on April 22-28.
