No news in search for Gail
INVESTIGATIONS are continuing into the whereabouts of missing Warwick woman Gail Lynch.
A Warwick Criminal Investigation Branch spokesman said there were no new updates, when the Daily News went to print last night.
"We don't have any other real progress to tell except what was told (at the press conference on Tuesday)," he said.
No information about the red rug which was reported missing from Ms Lynch's unit had been reported.
No land or water search was carried out yesterday and while there are plans to resume the search at a later date, no time has been set.
Ms Lynch is one of 4700 people reported missing each year in Queensland.
A Queensland Police Service spokeswoman said although the QPS recovery rate was 99.5%, there were still about 260 people on the long-term missing persons register.
Information on current long-term missing persons can be found at police.qld.gov.au.
