NOMINATIONS are needed for the Daily News/Warwick Credit Union Sports Star of the Month awards.
The awards are now in their 23rd year after last year's major awards were presented at recent dinners to rower Harriet Hudson (junior) and athlete Matthew Denny (senior).
Each junior monthly winner receives a $50 savings account at the Warwick Credit Union and each senior winner $100.
All receive trophies at the annual dinner and are eligible for the major awards.
The awards cover the Warwick, Allora, Killarney, Clifton, Inglewood and Texas areas and the area has not changed since the boundaries included three former shires, Warwick, Clifton and Inglewood.
