Now you can build your own footy hero

ORIGIN II might be in Melbourne, but the Warwick Daily News can still help you get close to one of your Queensland heroes if you can't make it to the game.

From today, you can Make a Mighty Maroon with our set of five posters that build a life-size picture of star halfback Johnathan Thurston.

All you have to do is collect one poster each weekday in the Warwick Daily News from today until next Tuesday (June 16).

Then you just have to put them all together and, before you can say "Queenslander", you'll have JT from head to toe looking right back at you.

And don't forget our bumper match-day preview on June 17, which will include all the latest developments, key match-ups, player profiles and expert analysis from our sports team and legends of the game.
