NRL Holiday Clinic well supported

THIRTY players turned up to the Rugby League Holiday Clinic put on by NRL development officer Jim Stevens today.

The players were put through lots of drills on the field at Assumption College with plenty of parents watching on.

While the majority of children were from the Warwick area, there were players in Wattles jerseys at the clinic and some from Stanthorpe.

Three girls were part of the clinic as rugby league has a major push in the area to encourage more girls to play leaguetag and girls rugby league.

A second clinic will be held tomorrow at Goondiwindi and the third at Tenterfield on April 14.
