POLOCROSSE: Northern Territory pair Steve Nolan and Sam Cook will play in the No.1 Cunningham side in a polocrosse tournament at Bony Mountain Recreation Reserve this weekend.

The pair run businesses in the Northern Territory but fly south for many carnivals during the polocrosse season.

They played for Victoria in the Barastoc Interstate Series at Morgan Park earlier this season and have joined the Cunningham club in the past two months. Nolan is in the Australian squad.

They will be joined in the top Cunningham team by the O'Leary brothers, Zac and Anthony, Leon Sticklen and Todd Waugh.

Cunningham player Ryle Waugh will return to club polocrosse after starring for Australia in an intermediate series in South Africa.

The carnival has attracted 40 teams and is the second hosted by the Cunningham club this season.

Games start at 8am tomorrow and Sunday. There will be sit-down meals on Friday and Saturday nights, and entertainment on Saturday night.
