NYE rodeo ready to rock the Rose City
IT'S Christmas time, which means the traditional New Year's Eve rodeo is fast approaching.
A staple of the party plans of Warwick residents and those coming from out of town, organisers are gearing up to send off 2017 in style.
Gates open from 10am for rodeo spectators, with a wide range of events planned throughout the day.
The invitational campdraft starts at 6am, serving as a fundraiser for Miss Rodeo Australia contestant Ashleigh Grant.
The brumby catch takes place at 2pm, followed by the rodeo at 4pm.
The bar opens from 2pm, with Mik Oberle entertaining the crowd at night.
Camping is available on site for $20, with breakfast and a drink ticket included in the price.
