NZ Detectives search for answers in Jingli Children's deaths

DETECTIVES in the Northern Territory's Major Crime Squad are still searching for answers in the deaths of a mother and her two young children in the Darwin suburb of Jingli.

The horrifying discovery was made by the home's owner on Saturday morning, finding the 46-year-old mother near a tent in the yard.

Inside the tent were the remains of the woman's daughter, 7 and son, 11.

NT News reports police were considering the incident to be either a double murder suicide, or triple homicide.

Police are now calling for witnesses. Those with any information should call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
