Off-duty firefighter gives first aid to injured man

A CAR crashed into a ditch on the Gore Highway between Millmerran and Goondiwindi last night.

A spokeswoman from Queensland Fire and Emergency Services said a crew was called to the scene at Kindon at about midnight.

An off-duty firefighter was reportedly on scene when the crew arrived, giving first aid to a man who had suffered a cut to his foot.

Three people were inside the vehicle at the time of the crash but the man was the only one who required transport to Goondiwindi Hospital.
