ONE man has been ordered to pay hundreds and another will face court after an alleged disturbance at the Criterion Hotel in Warwick last night.

Police were called to the historic pub about 11.30pm after two men had allegedly been fighting at the back of the venue.

A 20-year-old Warwick man was given a $783 fine for public nuisance.

The other man, an 18-year-old man from Stanthorpe, was charged with public nuisance but also allegedly caught drink driving.

Warwick Police Sergeant Greg Burton said he returned a blood alcohol reading of 0.125.

He is scheduled to face Warwick Magistrates Court for the two charges on January 9.
