One loss, one win for Warwick

WARWICK had one win and one loss in Toowoomba football fixtures at Queens Park yesterday.

In its first home games of the season, Warwick lost 4-0 in the ladies’ game before winning 3-1 in the men’s match.

Rockville had the better of the play but Alice Morrisey stopped a number of shots at goal for the Warwick ladies’ side.

In the men’s game, Morgan Gilchrist, Josh Robertson and Ricky Sinkins scored goals.

Robertson had a blinder for the home side.

Warwick is one of four sides in equal third place.

On Friday night, the Warwick colts won 3-2 in Toowoomba. Warwick plays three games against Souths Hawks in Toowoomba this weekend.
