One-stop safety shop set to open

IN JUST a few weeks, Joe Sciuto will open the doors to his new "one-stop shop" on the corner of Hamilton and Grafton Sts.

All Safety Gear and Total Fire Protection will merge as one to create a hub for people to buy everything from fire extinguishers and smoke alarms to work boots and clothing.

"We won't be selling cheapo stuff - we are going for quality," Mr Sciuto said.

"I don't think there are many places in Warwick where people can get this sort of thing."

Mr Sciuto said he was all for shopping locally and wanted to keep business in town.

Having been in the fire safety industry for 15 years, he said he was thrilled to be able to bring his skills and services to the rest of the community.

"I love what I do and it's helping someone protect what they own," Mr Sciuto said.

"I'm in a position where I can give advice to people about protecting their home."

The plans for this shop have been in the making for more than a year and Mr Sciuto said he hoped to have the doors open come the end of October.
