One win and two losses

WARWICK scored an 8-1 victory against Willowburn in ladies’ premier football at USQ on Sunday.

The Warwick ladies side is now unbeaten after two rounds of the Toowoomba Football competition.

Warwick senior co-ordinator Domi- nic Benz said the ladies’ team was the best-performed in the early part of the season.

On Sunday, Warwick lost 5-1 in premier men’s football to Wanderers and the Colts went down 3-1 also to Wanderers.

Warwick has one win from two games in colts.

The Warwick Wolves have not been given a draw for this weekend.

Benz said the Warwick side expected one-third of the games would be played at Queens Park in Warwick.

“We have a third of our games in Toowoomba, one third in Warwick and one third at other venues,” Benz said.

There will be no Toowoomba fixtures on the Easter weekend.
