Openings for new players in Warwick squash

SQUASH: Tonight is the last chance to sign up for the first 2017 season in the Warwick Rose Squash Club.

The club has lost some players to transfers and some Year 12 students are opting out to concentrate on their studies.

Club secretary Jenny Gillott said the club was happy to welcome players of all standards.

"Coaching is available for new players who will start on level 6 and therefore meet players of a similar standard,” she said.

All fixtures are played on Tuesday and Wednesday nights from 6pm at St Mary's Squash Courts in Guy St. Players will be allocated to teams and each team will have an equal number of fixtures on the two different nights.

The practice night is Monday from 5.30pm, cost $5 per person. Players unable to attend the muster this Tuesday can call Len Don on 0418734952.

Women's fixtures

THE women have a social competition each Thursday night from 6pm and interested players welcome to the first muster this Thursday from 6pm.

Information from women's president Melinda Walker on 0427110878.

Junior play

WARWICK junior squash players don't miss out with coaching each Monday from 3.30pm under coach Len Don.

Games are organised and players can join senior fixtures when ready. Players can just turn up any Monday afternoon except during school holidays.
