Overnight storms bring much-needed rain to Warwick

WARWICK residents were in luck last night as storms hit the region, with more rain predicted for today.

Weatherzone recorded that Warwick had received up to 4.8mm yesterday, coming in as Warwick's wettest day this September.

According to today's forecasts, there is a 40% chance that rain will continue, likely hitting the north of Warwick sometime this afternoon.

So far this month, the region has had a total 5.0mm of rain, a reasonably low rainfall compared to the month's average of 38.1mm.

However, it is still not the driest on record, as 2003's September only received 2.3mm.
