Pacers ready to help with Saturday parkrun at Queens Park

RUNNING: The pacers will be back on course for this Saturday’s Warwick parkrun at Queens Park.

Periodically, pacers run at the back of the field so runners can stay with a certain pacer to run the time they are aiming for.

Pacers will be on course doing the 5km in 30, 32.5, 35, 37.5, 40 and 45 minutes. It is a great chance for runners to record a personal best.

Last Saturday, there were 58 parkrunners on course after a week’s break for the Daily News Pentath-run.

Warwick parkrun welcomed John English from Logan who regularly competes in parkrun as a forerunner to a weekend of motor racing at Morgan Park.

There were seven parkrunners on course last Saturday a week after they had completed all five legs of the Pentath-run.

All welcome to Queens Park below the rugby oval at 6.45am each Saturday for a 7am start. New participants asked to print out a barcode from website.
