Snakebite victim transported to hospital

UPDATE 4.30pm: A patient was transported to Warwick Hospital this afternoon after suffering a possible snakebite.

Paramedics were called to the scene at Freestone Creek Rd and Freestone School Rd about 12.04pm.

The patient was transported in a stable condition.

The gender and age of the person was unknown.

INITIAL 12.30pm: An ambulance crew is currently responding to a call out to Freestone Creek Rd and Freestone School Rd.

A spokeswoman from Queensland Ambulance Services said a person had been bitten by a snake.

The gender and age of the person was unknown at that stage.
