Elderly woman injured in crash west of Warwick

UPDATE 8.45am: A woman in her 70s has been taken to Warwick Hospital after being injured in a crash at Bony Mountain.

A spokesman from Queensland Ambulance Services said the woman sustained chest and abdominal injuries in the single-vehicle crash but the injuries were not life threatening.

An elderly man was also assessed by paramedics at the scene but did not require transport to hospital.

The pair were reportedly travelling in a vehicle when it crashed into multiple trees on Yankee Gully Rd about 7.05am.

INITIAL 7.30am: An ambulance crew is currently responding to a single-car crash at Bony Mountain.

A spokesman from Queensland Ambulance Services said paramedics were called to the scene at Yankee Gully Rd, about 30km west of Warwick, at 7.05am.

The number of patients at the scene was unknown.
