Party time at the picnic races

FASHION, food and fun are all on the menu at the Ergon Energy 121st Warwick Picnic Races tomorrow.

Featuring a five-race program, Coffee Club marquee, gourmet sausage sizzle and live entertainment, the Warwick Picnic Races are a great family day out.

This year the Rose City Shoppingworld will once again present the Fashions on the Field, with a range of prizes up for grabs.

Rose City Shoppingworld marketing manager Louise de Lissa was pleased to be a part of the race day once again and give retailers the opportunity to sponsor the prizes.

"We were overwhelmed with the response from retailers wanting to be a part of this year's prize pool and would like to thank them for their contributions," she said.

Well-dressed racegoers will contend for spots in four Fashions on the Field categories, Best Dressed Lady, Best Dressed Gentleman, Best Dressed Couple and Best Hat or Fascinator.

The Fashions on the Field parade and judging will take place between races two and three, at about 2.10pm so make sure you're out and about well before to be spotted by the organisers.

When: Tomorrow, gates open at 11am with racing from 1.26pm.

Where: Allman Park.

Cost: General admission $15, Coffee Club Marquee $50.
