Patient bitten on the foot by snake

A FEMALE patient has been bitten by a snake on a private residence outside Warwick.

A spokesman from Queensland Ambulance Services said she was reportedly bitten on the foot about 9.20am this morning at Mount Colliery.

She was later transported to Warwick Hospital in a stable condition.

The age of the woman and kind of snake involved were unknown at that stage.
