Victim of car crash 'alleged robber'

EARLIER 9PM, TUESDAY: A man struck by a car on Guy St was allegedly involved in a robbery of a nearby bottleshop. 

A Queensland Police media spokesman said the man is alleged to have taken off from the scene of the robbery along Guy St when he was struck by the vehicle. 

He has been taken to the Warwick Watchhouse and is cooperating with police. 

Charges are expected to be laid. 

 

EARLER, 8.25PM: A man who was struck by a car earlier this evening has sustained only minor injuries.

A Queensland Ambulance Service spokeswoman said the man was treated on scene but did not require transportation to hospital.

She said the man had been left in police custody. 

 

EARLIER, 7.45PM: A MAN has been hit by a car on Guy St opposite Leslie Park.

The man is believed to have broken ribs but is being treated by paramedics on scene and is in a stable condition.

It is unclear how the collision took place.
