Pentath members stitch up their task

MEMBERS of the Relay for Life group the Pentath Powerhouse have been busy exercising not only their legs, but also their hands in the lead-up to next month's event.

Over the past few weeks, the group has kept busy creating a beautiful quilt, which will be raffled in aid of the cause.

Member Julie Leggatt said the team collected scraps of material that were quilted for free by Adele Mackinnon from Adele's Bobbins N Threads.

Members of the Pentath Powerhouse will be selling tickets for their raffle at Rose City Shoppingworld on Monday and Tuesday next week.

The Warwick Rainbow Relay for Life will be held at Risdon Oval, Queens Park, on September 7 and 8.

Teams can register online at http://www.relayforlife.org.au, or sign up on the day.
