Perrin stands tallest in Cowboys reggies loss
RUGBY LEAGUE: Back-rower Sean Perrin was one of the best as Warwick went down 24-10 to Valleys in the reserve-grade elimination final at Clive Berghofer Stadium on Saturday.
Warwick trailed 16-8 at half-time.
Coach Tim Doyle said his side had every chance.
"We made some poor decisions in attack against a good Valleys side,” he said.
"I couldn't be prouder of the effort the side put in on Saturday. Jack Breen had his usual strong game in the centres as he has for all games in the second round. Josh O'Brien again stood out in the forwards.
"My support staff of manager Rick McGahan, assistant coach Mark Sullivan and trainer Peter Doyle have been of great assistance.”
Doyle said it was great to see the U18s win yesterday.
"We will all be in Toowoomba to support the U18 and A-graders on Sunday. The club can have its best best season since the late 1980s.”
