Person thrown from vehicle in Goomburra roll-over
WARWICK police, ambulance and fire crews were called to a single vehicle roll-over on Goomburra Rd about 11.30am today.
A spokeswoman from Firecom said one passenger was thrown from the vehicle.
The three occupants were treated on scene by paramedics with the RACQ CareFlight Toowoomba rescue helicopter tasked just after midday to assist.
A spokesman for RACQ CareFlight said the rescue helicopter's medical team had treated two foreign nationals and confirmed one of the occupants had been thrown from the vehicle.
“It's believed the ute hit a pothole on the road which caused the vehicle to veer off the road and roll and land in a small gully ejecting one passenger,” the spokesman said.
The two men, a 28-year-old Mongolian who suffered abdominal injuries and a 29-year-old German who suffered a dislocated shoulder, were airlifted to Toowoomba Hospital in a stable condition.
A spokeswoman for QAS said the female driver was transported by road to Toowoomba Hospital for treatment.
Police enquiries are continuing.
