Peter Andre’s outrageous backstage demands

PETER Andre has been exposed for demanding 41 pricey items on his rider for a performance at a corporate event, despite also charging $53,000 in appearance fees.

The pop hunk, 44, requested 15 medium-sized black or navy hand towels, good quality white wine, $80 dinner money hand-outs for crew members and assorted Cadbury chocolates among other things, according to The Sun.

The singer also demanded chopped ginger, Johnnie Walker Blue Label whisky, Bacardi 8, beer, chewing gum, and Manuka honey.

Andre's rider specified that the "good quality white wine" should not include chardonnay, chablis, pinot grigio or sauvignon blanc.

And to make matters worse, some of the things Andre was given were left untouched.

A source told The Mirror: "It was the most ridiculous amount of requests. It's as if he thinks he's part of the Rolling Stones. Most of what was requested wasn't even used."

Andre's crew all got their own "good quality" red and white wines to knock back and he made sure everyone with him was well-fed to say the least.

The appearance was for a company called Slimming World and it was told Andre needed "a healthy, home-cooked three-course meal for crew including one vegetarian option and one red meat and one white meat option, or buyouts (fee instead of food) at $80 per head per meal".

Andre was meant to tour Australia last month for the first time in 20 years but cancelled due to poor ticket sales.
