THE first of three functions for Miss Rodeo Australia was a Canapes and Cowgirls night on Friday at the Australian Rodeo Heritage Centre.
The function was well supported by representatives of the sport, rodeo fans from the Warwick area and supporters of each of the six Miss Rodeo Australia entrants.
One of the organisers of the Carrieton Rodeo in South Australia, Glyn Shackleford were at the function.
The Southern Downs Regional Council was represented by Mayor Tracy Dobie and Cr Yve Stocks.
