Photos come to life in new Odyssey exhibition

ODYSSEY is an exhibition of abstract photographs by Chris Wallace and Annie Bradford.

Their work tells the story of the artist's life journey and communicate deep emotions and the joys of family and friendship.

Life long friends, Chris and Annie seek out beauty in nature existing in objects that they would have ignored before.

The explore the beauty of puddles of water and the smallest grain of sand.

To capture the colour and abstract shapes in the photographs involved the two women chasing light and the weather and included setting off in a kayak or balancing precariously on a slippery rock. None of the images in the exhibition have been manipulated on the computer.

Odyssey is a registered event with the Queensland Festival of Photography, an initiative of the Queensland Centre for Photography.
