Calf prices dearer, pig prices firm at weekly sale

MCDOUGALL and Sons auctioneer Dennis Burke said the calf market was slightly dearer this week while the pig prices were firm on the last market.

Light weaner pigs - $62 to $87

Beef rearer calves - $110 to $255
Dairy bull calves - $72 to $130
Light grass eater calves - $350 to $400
Light veal calves - $390 - $470
