Pigs racing off to the footy
THEY have four legs, a curly tail, a snout and go oink and come tomorrow there will be seven of them dashing around the Collegians footy field for the club's inaugural pig races fundraiser.
The course these thoroughbred pigs will run will have them jump over tyres, open gates and run up and over ramps.
There will be a number of races held on the day but it will all come down to how the pigs are feeling, but Collegians fundraiser Geraldine Dwan is hoping for a six-race card.
For $2 you can purchase a ticket and go in the draw to be allocated a pig for each race.
The person lucky enough to pull the winning pig will walk away with $100, second and third place getters will also have winnings to collect.
The first race will start after theunder-16s game wraps up and the pig races will not be the only entertainment on show for the evening, dinner and dessert will be available in the clubhouse afterwards.
