SHOOTING: The Warwick Pistol Club is hosting 57 players at this weekend's Rose and Rodeo Shoot at the club range at Rosehill.

The club has attracted shooters from as far as Port Macquarie in New South Wales and Childers in Queensland.

The three-day shoot started this afternoon and action will continue to Sunday afternoon.

Mayor Tracy Dobie and Member for Southern Downs Lawrence Springborg will both be at the shoot for a time on Sunday.

While the Warwick Pistol Club shoots at least twice most weeks, this weekend's event is one of the two biggest of the year.
