Pizzas back on the menu for Killarney
SHIRL and Sandy's at Killarney has started Saturday night Pizza Night.
Owner Sandy Wallace said they started the Pizza Night two weeks ago and sold 31 pizzas on the opening night, but not without a glitch as one of the pizza ovens decide to malfunction.
Sandy said it was a credit to her staff on the opening night to manage with only the one oven. Killarney residents who were used to the pizzas from Rod and Shirley Cooper at the Killarney Tucka Shop will be pleased to know that Shirl and Sandy's will be using the same menu with the likes of the Tim's Special or Lyn's Aussie Pizza along with all your regular pizzas. They also purchased the equipment they used to make their pizzas until they closed the business.
Sandy said that pizzas are available from 4pm to 8pm each Saturday with last orders taken at 7.30pm. Customers can either sit back and relax in the dining room or can order takeaways.
Sandy said that between Shirl and Sandy's and Gorgeous Coffee Lounge they employ 11 local people and with the shop is open daily from 5am weekdays and 6am on the weekends.
Shirl and Sandy's also have roast night each Thursday night from 5pm.
