Plenty of room to move

WARWICK residents won't believe their eyes when renovations are complete at My Optical on Grafton St.

Optometrist Paul Morrissey said the shop would be closed this week due to the final stage of renovations and would re-open next Monday, June 25.

"The builders were in there (at the weekend) and pulled everything out and knocked down the wall separating the two shops," Mr Morrissey said.

"The main office and the staff room are finished and we're hoping by Saturday we can move things back in and tidy it up."

He said the new practice will have much more room for both professional work and customer leisure.

"There will be more space for our equipment and we will have a larger display area and more space so people can move around," Mr Morrissey said.

With the new facelift comes a stack of new stock to fill the bigger display space and Mr Morrissey said there would now be room for future expansion.

"If we continue to be this busy we'll have room to get a third optometrist in," he said.

While the practice is closed this week, phone bookings are still being taken for the week after.
