Police appeal for witnesses of brutal assault

POLICE are appealing for public assistance to identify two people they wish to speak to in relation to an assault at a Tannum Sands hotel on January 18.

At about 11:40pm an 18-year-old man was king hit and knocked down by another man in the main bar of the hotel.

The man then repeatedly pushed the victim's head against the floor, resulting in a number of injuries.

Investigations are continuing.
