Police enforce out-of-control-party legislation

POLICE enforced out of control event legislation on Friday night in Narangba due to a large party.

Just after 8pm, police received information of a party with over 250 people on Walmsley Street with evidence of under-age consumption of alcohol.

Subsequently, police directed the occupant to have all non-residents leave the property.

The occupant followed the direction, but police patrolled the area around the Narangba Railway Station over the following hours as the party-goers left.

A number of young people were issued with infringement notices.
