Police hunt man behind suburban driving rampage

BREAKING: A man is on the run from police after going on a driving rampage across parts of Toowoomba.

He was detected on Friday committing a string of offences.

The car is described as a red 1989-1996 Mazda hatchback.

Police observed a man in the vehicle with short dark hair wearing orange "work" shirt.

His driving has been described as "dangerous".

Many of the offences took place in the Harristown area and he was last seen on Friday at 10.30am.

Police are urgently seeking public assistance to identify the red Mazda hatchback.
