Police hunt speedster who fled from officers

KILLARNEY and Warwick police are seeking help to find a speeding driver who ignored police directions to stop.

It is alleged the driver of a silver Subaru Impreza sedan failed to stop after being clocked doing more than 120kmh at Murray's Bridge yesterday at 2.01pm.

Police were heading east on the road from Warwick to Killarney and the speed of the silver car heading west was clocked on a mobile radar in the police car.

The same motorist then failed to stop at an attempted police intercept on Bracker Rd about 2.20pm.

Police say the driver veered onto the wrong side of the roundabout to evade police, before acceleratind to more than 150kmh in an 80kmh zone

The car is registered to an address in Logan and inquiries are continuing.
