Police hunt for Toyota 86 stolen from Beaudesert

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate the driver of a vehicle stolen from an address in Beaudesert yesterday afternoon.

Initial investigations suggest at 2pm a man gained entry to a home on Audley Street before being confronted by two occupants.

The man then produced a knife and ordered the occupants to hand over a set of car keys, before fleeing the scene in the stolen vehicle.

No one was physically injured during the incident.

The man is described as Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander in appearance, aged in his mid-20s, approximately 178cm tall and of slim build.

He was last seen wearing a dark grey cap, dark grey t-shirt, dark grey pants and a pair of blue Nike shoes.

The vehicle (similar to pictured) is described as an orange Toyota 86 with Queensland registration 133TQP.
