Police issue seven notices and charge two after Texas cup
SEVEN men were issued with infringement notices, two will face court and two were given a move on direction after a busy night for police in the aftermath of the Texas Cup race meeting on Saturday.
The races were held at the racecourse during the afternoon.
A Police media spokesman said all the incidents happened at the races or directly outside the racecourse between about 6pm and 11pm on Saturday night.
A 22-year-old Spring Hill man was issued with a move on direction for anti-social behaviour.
"He re-attended the racecourse and was issued with a notice to appear in court for contravening a move on direction,” a Police media spokesman said.
"Police issued a 21-year-old New South Wales man with a notice to appear in court for being in charge of a vehicle while over the middle alcohol limit. He was revving his engine in the car park and registered a blood alcohol level of 0.128 per cent.”
Men, aged 20 and 24, from Derri Derra were issued with move on directions for anti-social behaviour.
Police issued seven infringement notices late Saturday in Texas.
A 22-year-old Eagleby man was issued with an infringement notice (fine) for public urination. Police issued infringement notices to a 22-year-old man from Texas, 38 and 28-year-old men from Yelarbon and a 27-year-old from Goondiwindi for disorderly conduct.
Police issued an infringement notice to a man, 19, from Goodar, for disorderly conduct. Another 22-year-old man was also fined for disorderly conduct.
