Police Minister pays Warwick a visit
QUEENSLAND Police Minister Jo-Ann Miller paid a special visit to Warwick today, touring the Rose City with correctional officers and members of the women's work camp.
Ms Miller visited the Killarney and Warwick police stations and the Warwick Fire Station before touring Pringle Cottage, Warwick Showgrounds, St Vincent de Paul warehouse and Warwick Golf Club where women from the work camp provide invaluable service.
Just caught up with the crew at the Warwick fire & rescue station. Thanks for having me & thanks for all you do!

"The women's camp has been very successful in this community and they are making a real contribution to the showgrounds and Pringle Cottage," Ms Miller said.
"I think's great they're accepted in the town and hope that when they have finished their time in correctional service they can find a job and move on with their lives."
The Warwick women's camp is one of two camps in Queensland for low security female prisoners.
Ms Miller will visit Goondiwindi tomorrow.
It might be a 2 'man' station here in Killarney, but we've certainly come a long way since this was written!
