Police nab trio after woman caught in daycare car park

THREE people have been charged with multiple offences after they were caught during a crime spree in Laidley on Sunday morning.

Laidley police officer-in-charge Senior Sergeant Jim McDonald said the offenders went on the crime spree from midnight to shortly after 4am on Sunday morning, which included break and enters at Brightview, Free Range Kids Child Care and MCM Hair.

He said police received information from a Lockyer Valley Regional Council employee and as a result a 26-year-old female was found in a car at Free Range Kids Child Care.

"Police from Laidley and Gatton cordoned the area and the police dog squad, shortly after, captured two male offenders," Snr Sgt McDonald said.

30-year-old Jody Lee Junge from Bundamba was charged with four counts of break and enter, one count of breach of a domestic violence order and three counts of possession of tainted property.

A 26-year-old female from Bundamba was charged with three counts of break and enter, one count of driving unlicensed, one count of possession of dangerous drugs and one count of contravening the direction or requirement of police.

A 16-year-old male was charged with three counts of unlawful entry.

Junge has appeared in Ipswich Magistrates Court and will reappear on September 13.

The 30-year-old female will appear in court on September 25 and the 16-year-old male will appear in Ipswich Children's Court on September 29.
