Police rescue baby from locked car

POLICE and the RACQ have been called to free a baby from a locked car at Grand Central Shopping Centre.

A police spokesman said officers were called to a Dent St carpark at 12.15pm today.

The car was unlocked without incident.

She advised parents and carers to keep their car keys on them.

"More often than not it is accidental when children are locked in cars," she said.
