Police uncover 30g of drug inside car in Warwick

A 28-YEAR-OLD man will face Warwick Magistrates Court after allegedly being caught with 30g of marijuana in his car.

Warwick Police Sergeant Ryan Harmer said the man was intercepted by police on Wallace St in Warwick about 7.20am yesterday.

The Warwick man allegedly returned a positive reading in a roadside drug test.

"Also at the time police located about 30g of cannabis in the car," Sgt Harmer said.

The man was charged with one count each of drug driving and possession of a dangerous drug.

He will appear at Warwick Magistrates Court at a later date.
