Pooch party to celebrate

Warwick Animal Welfare Association is working wonders in and around the local area. Whether it’s helping animals, raising money or even thanking people who have contributed to the association, they make the effort so no good deed goes unnoticed.

A little while ago a beautiful dog called Cadbury was surrendered to the Animal Welfare Association; due to unforseen circumstances his owner was no longer able to look after him.

When the Animal Welfare Association collected Cadbury, his fur was matted and extremely dirty.

The Animal Welfare Association then decided to contact Fran’s Total Dog Grooming.

After a good bath, a clip and some much-needed pampering, Cadbury looked brand-new and happy again, and within only a few days Cadbury was re-homed.

Fran’s Total Dog Grooming provided their services for free, even giving Cadbury a new collar and coat.

“When we heard about Cadbury we just wanted to help out,” said Fran Griffin.

“He was so sad when he first arrived, but after the pampering you could tell her was so much happier.

“My husband Damian and I are both lovers of animals and we’re happy to hear that a new home was found for Cadbury.”

Coming up on Saturday August 20, Fran’s Total Dog Grooming will be celebrating its first birthday. They will be holding a ‘parent and dog day’ with roast beef sandwiches and fun and games for all. The best part about it is that all proceeds will go to the Warwick Animal Welfare Association.

Head along to join in the celebrations with your furry best friend and help out a good cause – Fran’s Total Dog Grooming wants to work together with you to help the Animal Welfare Association.

The Warwick Animal Welfare Association has plenty of wonderful pets who are just waiting to find a new home.
