Portrait of a sandwich artist
I AM the manager here at Subway Warwick and have been for a bit over five months.
I am originally from India and came to Australia nine years ago to gain better qualifications.
I spent five years in Sydney studying and have a Bachelor of IT from the University of Ballarat and a Diploma in Business Management from Navitas.
I moved to Toowoomba because I had a friend who lived there and I had become a little sick of Sydney.
Last year I decided I needed a change as I’d been working in service stations for five years and started looking online and found this job.
I like Warwick, it’s so quiet, not much traffic and everyone is nice and friendly.
I love my cricket and was playing for Helidon in the Toowoomba competition where I took out the trophy for best bowling average.
I’m 16 and studying Year 12 at Scots PGC.
I’ve been working at Subway for 10 months and it’s my first job.
I’m the current Employee of the Month.
I work on the counter as a sandwich artist and also assist with prepping the vegetables and salads.
I like it all, it’s a fun job.
After school I would like to secure an electrical apprenticeship.
In July I’ll be heading off to New Zealand on a school trip, We’ll be going snow-boarding and jet-boating, which will be great.
I’m 16 and have been working here at Subway for about three months.
It’s my first job as well.
I love it, the staff are all good people and the work is fun and easy.
I’m doing Year 11 at Warwick State High and am not sure just yet what I want to do when I finish school.
My mum is keen for me to join one of the armed forces and, if I had to choose, I’d pick the air force.
And she also just had a baby boy so I spend my spare time with my new little brother.
